Orchestre Métropolitain Welcomes New Directors and Chair to the Board

The Orchestre Métropolitain du Grand Montréal is pleased to announce the appointment of Michelle Cormier as Chair of the Board, and René Malo and Donat J. Taddeo as members of the Orchestra’s Board of Directors.

These three new members bring to the Orchestre Métropolitain exceptional experience in their respective fields, in-depth knowledge of the business world and a willingness to assure the continuity of the Orchestra by expanding its funding base.

“Over the past few years, the Orchestre Métropolitain and its Artistic Director, Yannick Nézet-Séguin, have demonstrated their strong artistic abilities. Now the Orchestra needs the financial means that are commensurate with its abilities. The Board will make this objective a priority, and we will step up our efforts to attain it,” said the new Chair of the Board.
