Recognized by critics for its vocal qualities and its engaging interpretations, this ensemble has been part of most OM seasons since its creation and has been associated with numerous concerts which have contributed to the success of the orchestra. Its repertoire is varied: masses, requiems, te deums, psalms and operas in concert version. Having been led successively by Agnès Grossmann, Patrick Wedd and Yannick Nézet-Séguin, the Choeur de l’Orchestre Métropolitain is now directed by Alain Cazes and Pierre Tourville.
