Sights and Sounds of Europe

A grand journey to the old continent—to the fjords of Scandinavia, the plains of Hungary, the Austrian Alps and the lands of Andalusia… Six countries in two hours of music, images and dreams! Winner of the 2001 CBC Competition, young cellist Kaori Yamagami will join the OM to perform the magnificent Concerto for Cello in C Major by Haydn. In addition, for the first time in Montréal, Alain Trudel will swap his trombone for a conductor’s baton!
