Pages of Love

From mythology to Shakespearean drama, love is among the main protagonists… this promises to be a sensual, passionate concert. Romeo and Juliet, Tristan and Iseult, Psyche and Eros… as many couples as there are ultimate love stories. To spice up these love poems, the OM commissioned young composer Nicole Lyzée to create a work for symphonic orchestra and disc jockey… Daring!

  • WAGNER: Tristan und Isolde (Prelude and Liebestod)
  • NICOLE LIZÉE: King Kong and Fay Wray, World premiere for orchestra and solo
  • FRANCK: Psyche and Eros
  • RAVEL: Daphnis and Chloe (suite No 2)
