The Orchestre Métropolitain ChoirFounded in 1986 by Agnès Grossmann, the Orchestre Métropolitain Choir brings together one hundred mixed voices. Recognized by critics for its vocal qualities and its engaging interpretations, this ensemble has been part of most Métropolitain’s seasons since its creation and has been associated with numerous concerts which have contributed to the success of the orchestra. Its repertoire is varied: masses, requiems, te deums, psalms and operas in concert version. Having been led successively by Agnès Grossmann, Patrick Wedd Wedd and Yannick Nézet-Séguin, the Orchestre Métropolitain Choir is directed by Alain Cazes and Pierre Tourville. |
