History
Founded in 1981 by top graduates from conservatories and faculties of music in Quebec, Orchestre Métropolitain du Grand Montréal quickly became a part of Montréal’s cultural life. It’s distinct personality was reinforced in March 2000 with the arrival of Artistic Yannick Nézet-Séguin.
